A chance encounter, a shared adventure, a bond formed through a lens - this is my story, my experience with a couple I knew nothing about. One ordinary day, I stood behind the glass window of a store, watching a couple that captivated my heart. Their love was palpable, so raw and pure, it drew me in. I yearned to be part of their love story, to capture it through my lens.

With no formalities, no financial transactions, I proposed an idea to them. A hike to a location I had always dreamt of photographing. If I could find suitable attire for them within an hour, it would be a sign that it was meant to be. I ventured into a church rummage sale where I spotted a lone white dress and a set of men's attire just two racks away. It felt like destiny. The clothes fit them perfectly, wrapping them in elegance and simplicity.

We embarked on our hike, sharing laughter along the way. Amidst the shoot, I had a whimsical thought - I asked them to pray for a rainbow. And as if the universe was listening, two rainbows appeared, framing their love beautifully. The moment was ethereal, it made my hair stand on end. An Icelandic Elopement: Capturing Love Amongst the Waterfalls

<h2 style="line-height: 1;">We notice that all your images on your website, Instagram and Facebook are just couples, do you also take detail photos and family pictures?</h2>
<h6 style="line-height: 1;">I have always wanted my couples to book me for my connection and intimacy in my work, so this is what I share the most. I want to be booked for this and not my ability to capture center pieces or table settings. I do of course capture all the days events, details, candid pictures, family images and everything else that happens at a wedding day as they are very important but again I want my couples to book for the experience of me capturing your connection, not how beautiful I can make your silverware look (which I can definitely do).</h6>

<h2>We were looking over more of your photos; they are beautiful however we were wondering if most of the the photos we would receive be darker and moodier, or if others would be lighter?</h2>
<h6>While I do love using natural light and shadows in many of my images to create mood, drama and a feeling of intimacy, I fully understand that style isn&rsquo;t something that is necessarily best for an entire day. I will capture your wedding day, with a good mix of both dramatic portraits and blend clean photography throughout, to create an accurate representation of your day.</h6>

<h2>How many images will we receive on our wedding day or connection session?</h2>
<h6>I never limit the amount of images I will capture in any of my weddings, elopements or engagement/connection sessions. On average I deliver between 40-55 images for every hour of coverage. For my connection sessions, I deliver between 40-50 images. All of the photographs that you will receive are delivered in full resolution and have been fully edited. I am a big believer in quality over quantity and I will never put &ldquo;filler&rdquo; in your final gallery.</h6>

<h2>Where are you based out of?</h2>
I am a local Canmore and Banff wedding and elopement photographer located in Banff, Alberta, Canada which is in Canadian Rocky Mountains. I also spend half of my time in Canmore, Alberta as a wedding and elopement photographer, as my children were both born locally right in Canmore.

Absolutely! Though I have been based locally in the beautiful mountains for the last 18 years as a Banff and Canmore wedding photographer, I am available for weddings all over the world and travel for my clients internationally all year. I do A LOT of half and full day coordination now for my clients, where I act as a guide in the mountains in Banff and also worldwide - where I organize and coordinate everything from top to bottom so they just have to show up - from booking their Helicopters, building their itineraries, hiring all of the vendors for their date etc and offer both half and full day coordination with my photography. I really want to sell this idea, as I do both and have a great reviews for that work that I do and I believe I can be a strong presence in my market for this, as I offer a bit of higher end in depth experience being local and doing so much of this kind of work.
